Pray that your husband Brain C-13 Review will be sickened by what he sees and will choose to turn away. Let God go to work in your husband life. Encourage him to join a support group or men Bible study that will provide accountability. Do whatever it takes to free him up to attend such a group. Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, "As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.* * When God makes a covenant, He remains true to the covenant. An example of a covenant was the one God made with Abraham. To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. Commitment has always been important aspect of marriage. Marriage was considered a permanent state of affairs, not something that was commonly ended and then restarted with another person. * In the above passage, Paul talks about separated persons remaining unmarried. This helps to show that marriage, according to Paul, was meant to be a onetime event. Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
