BP Zone

The American Heart BP Zone Review Association recommends the use of lifestyle changes over the use of medication. Thousands of Americans have turned to living a healthier lifestyle to break the life long dependency of blood pressure medication. Not only have they reduced their dependency on daily drugs, they have reversed their condition and now do not have the threat of stroke, heart attack, kidney failure and blindness that high blood pressure brings hanging over their head. Does that sound like something you'd like to do? Well it's really pretty simple if you know what works and what is a waste of time. Here are a couple of tips that will get you started on quickly lowering your pressure and beginning a healthier overall life. If you're on medication now, you probably are taking a form of diuretic as that's the most popular prescription for stage 1 hypertension. The diuretic is meant to flush salt, or sodium, out of your body as well as lower overall blood volume. Guess what. You're body can do that all by itself if you let it. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces each day. If you weigh 200 pounds then you want to drink 100 ounces of water daily. Add a couple of stalks of celery to that and you'll end up with a natural diuretic that will do more than just flush salt and it won't have any side effects like the pills do. This is the fastest way to lower blood pressure as the reduction occurs immediately after you cool off. We're talking aerobic exercises here like walking or biking. Obviously your pressure will go up during the exercise but it will drop below your starting point after you finish by up to 4 points and the effect will last nearly 24 hours.
